We’re still in the heart of hurricane season, but the weather cooperated last week. With me on break, it was time to start cleaning the carpets in the house and Colleen and I started our Christmas shopping.   1. Unless you like court cases, I hope you don’t have to serve on jury duty. I have not had to, and since I’m 70 now, it’s my choice whether or not to serve.
    Yesterday and today broke the record highs at 90 degrees. However, on Tuesday, our temps are said to go south with highs only in the 40’s at best. Makes me shiver just thinking about the weather that’s ahead. Brrrrr.
