Yes, indeed, we are at fall’s doorstep. The neighbors even have their Halloween decorations up. Here on the hill, we managed to get more firewood ready for the cold months. The week was busy, but the weather was perfect. If you want to catch up on last week’s doings, just follow the link below…

I’ll be praying that your MRI reveals some good news regarding your back and about your aneurysm. We’ve had some very nice days of late even though they’ve been quite warm, and today’s humid. We’re told that our temps will fall quite a bit and snow is inching its way into the forecast’s commentary. Your and Colleen’s anniversary is something to celebrate. Glad you two found one another and are still together now. No-see-’ems (tiny gnats) have invaded our area. Darn things bite, too! We’re still getting tomatoes though they’re fewer and fewer. I’m to get 2 dental implants put in this week and I pray that the revamped denture will fit snugly to justify their cost. It’s been a long haul. Soft foods are highly over-rated! Hope you all have a good week, Colleen’s school’s a/c is repaired, and that all will continue to be right on the homestead.

Moving those quarters had to have been heavy to lift but glad you could get as much done as you did. Snow is a term that’s been inching it’s way into the weather rhetoric and if the Old Farmer’s Almanac is right, we’ll be going thru a lot of our wood this winter. Makes me shiver thinking about it. Hope the boys and grands are doing well and avoiding whatever’s going ’round out your way.
Thanks… All the news from the doctors last week was great! THe quarter rounds really aren’t all that heavy. We will need extra wood this winter just because I will be home all day now. How you have a great day!
